Options for door automation and controls in Rhyl

Traffic lights. Signals show drivers when the door is fully open and warn when it moves.
Inverter drives. Frequency inverters move busy doors faster while cutting wear on every cycle.
Activation options. Buttons, key switches, remotes, pull cords, loops, radar and access control.
Manual-to-electric. Hand-operated doors converted to power, with the paperwork a powered door needs.
Interlocks. Doors linked to each other, to levellers or to the alarm so they work in the right sequence.

Jobs we can carry out

Adding radar with cross-traffic suppression to a door on a busy aisle so passing trucks do not open it.
Adding traffic lights and warning beacons to a yard door shared by lorries and pedestrians.
Replacing an obsolete control panel with a modern unit, then re-testing the safety devices and closing forces.

Safety law for industrial doors in Wales

Industrial doors in Rhyl are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

How the work is organised

Sites in and around Rhyl vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Can our door in Rhyl be automated?

If the door is in good mechanical order and a suitable motor is available, usually yes. We check balance, springs, cables, guides and the curtain or panels on survey, and recommend repair or replacement first if needed.
