Drives and controls. Motors sized to the door and controls matched to your traffic, from a key switch to induction loops.
Free survey. Opening, headroom, obstructions, fixings and power all measured before we quote.
Aftercare. Once fitted, we can service the door on a schedule and repair it, along with doors from other installers.
Conformity paperwork. Handover includes the product and machinery conformity documents plus commissioning records.
Safety set-up. Powered doors fitted with safety edges or light curtains and force-tested to BS EN 12453.

Examples of work we can quote for

Adding a high-speed fabric door inside an existing shutter so the main door can stay open through the working day.
Specifying and fitting a complete goods-in bay with sectional door, hydraulic dock leveller, retractable shelter and bollards.
Phasing the replacement of several loading bay doors over consecutive weekends so goods-in stays open during the week.

Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Risca?

In Wales, two sets of duties meet at a powered door. The installer who supplies or motorises it must hand over a door that meets the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested against BS EN 12453 and documented. The business in control of the premises must then maintain it: regulation 5 of the Workplace Regulations 1992 covers maintenance, and regulation 18 requires upward-opening doors to have a device that stops them falling back and powered doors to have features that prevent trapping.

Keeping your site running during the work

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.
