Options that matter on site

Aftercare. Once fitted, we can service the door on a schedule and repair it, along with doors from other installers.
Safety set-up. Each motorised door gets the safety devices its risk assessment calls for and is force-tested before use.
Drives and controls. Direct, centre or chain drive motors with buttons, remotes, loops, radar or interlocks.
Loading equipment. The door, leveller, shelter and impact protection are specified together so the whole bay works as one.
Conformity paperwork. Handover includes the product and machinery conformity documents plus commissioning records.

Jobs we can carry out

Adding a high-speed fabric door inside an existing shutter so the main door can stay open through the working day.
Replacing corroded roller shutters on a vehicle workshop with insulated roller doors and new key-switch controls.
Installing a fire shutter in a compartment wall where a conveyor line passes between production and dispatch areas.

Powered door rules that apply in Merthyr Tydfil

Merthyr Tydfil is in Wales, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Keeping your site running during the work

Electrical work is the part that most often delays a job. If a new or converted door needs a supply, we confirm the motor's requirement at quote stage so your electrician can provide an isolator in the right place before installation day.
