Options for industrial door installation in Newtown

Fixed price. You receive the price in writing once the survey is done, and it is agreed before anyone starts work.
Safety set-up. Each motorised door gets the safety devices its risk assessment calls for and is force-tested before use.
Free survey. We measure and inspect the opening first, so the price reflects your building rather than a guess.
Loading equipment. Dock levellers, shelters, seals, bollards and guide protection fitted alongside the door.
Drives and controls. Motors sized to the door and controls matched to your traffic, from a key switch to induction loops.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting a freezer door with heated frame and inside release to a new cold room within a food production unit.
Phasing the replacement of several loading bay doors over consecutive weekends so goods-in stays open during the week.
Adding a high-speed fabric door inside an existing shutter so the main door can stay open through the working day.

Safety law for industrial doors in Wales

Industrial doors in Newtown are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

How the work is organised

For busy sites in Powys the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.
