Options that matter on site

Security. Bottom-rail locks and shoot bolts, with LPS 1175 rated products available.
Safety devices. Safety edges, photocells and anti-fall devices on powered shutters.
Mounting options. We mount the shutter wherever it fits most easily, including outside with a hood over the coil.
Compact coil. Nothing runs back under the roof: the shutter coils up neatly above the lintel.
Colour finishes. Plain galvanised or powder-coated to a RAL colour.

Examples of work we can quote for

Fitting a galvanised roller shutter to a new bin store or recycling compound, with a lockable bottom rail.
Replacing a run of rusted shutters on a block of trade units, finished in one matching RAL colour.
Replacing a vehicle-damaged shutter in a trade yard with a heavier-gauge curtain and guide-rail protection.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Kidderminster are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Access, phasing and timing

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.
