What we fit in Arnold

Finishes. RAL colours to match cladding, with stucco or woodgrain embossing on the outer skin.
Vision panels. Glazed rows or full-vision sections bring daylight in and let drivers see the yard.
Electric drives. Shaft-mounted motors with push-button, remote, loop or radar control, and inverter drives for high-cycle bays.
Safety devices. Every powered door is fitted with the safety functions its risk assessment needs and force-tested before handover.
Wicket doors. Integrated pass doors, including low-threshold versions, for staff access without opening the main door.

Examples of work we can quote for

Supplying sectional doors in a RAL colour matched to the existing cladding as part of a unit refurbishment between tenants.
Installing a sectional door on low-headroom tracks in a steel-framed unit where the roof haunch sits close above the opening.
Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Arnold are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Planning the work around your site

Sites in and around Arnold vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Sectional overhead doors in Arnold: your questions

Will a sectional door reduce heating costs at our Arnold premises?

An insulated, well-sealed sectional door loses much less heat than a single-skin shutter, and keeping it closed with fast electric operation helps further. Actual savings depend on your building, heating and how often the door is open.

How soon can a sectional door be fitted in Arnold?

Sectional doors are made to measure, so the manufacturer's lead time sets the date. We confirm it with the quote, book installation around your operations and fit most single doors in a day once the opening is ready.

Do you survey sites in Arnold before quoting?

Yes. Surveys for new and replacement doors are free. We measure the opening, headroom and obstructions, check the fixings and power supply, and discuss how the door will be used before we price it.
