What to specify

Vision panels. Glazed rows or full-vision sections bring daylight in and let drivers see the yard.
Track layouts. We pick the track after measuring headroom and obstructions, so the door clears lights, sprinklers and crane rails.
Electric drives. Motorised operation with the controls you need, from a simple push-button station to induction loops and radar.
Finishes. Choose a colour to match your building and a stucco or ribbed finish that hides minor knocks.
Paperwork. You get the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance plus commissioning and test records for your files.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting a bank of insulated sectional doors to a new distribution unit, with high-lift tracks to clear sprinkler mains and lighting.
Supplying full-vision aluminium sections for a vehicle workshop door so technicians get daylight without opening the door.
Renewing torsion springs and lift cables on a busy loading bay door, with higher-cycle springs where the usage justifies them.

Powered door rules that apply in Clevedon

Clevedon is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

How the work is organised

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.
