PVC strip curtains in Clevedon

In short

What we fit in Clevedon

Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.

Examples of work we can quote for

Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Traffic route rules that apply in Clevedon

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

How the work is organised

Most installations in Clevedon can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Clevedon?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Clevedon site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Clevedon?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
