Options for PVC strip curtains in Nailsea

Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.

Jobs we can carry out

Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Traffic route rules that apply in Nailsea

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Planning the work around your site

Most installations in Nailsea can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

PVC strip curtains in Nailsea: your questions

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Nailsea?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Nailsea site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Nailsea?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
