Options for PVC strip curtains in Somerset
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Somerset must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Most installations in Somerset can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.
