Options for PVC strip curtains in Yeovil
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Typical scopes of work
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Yeovil must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

PVC strip curtains in Yeovil: your questions
How often should strip curtains in Yeovil be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Yeovil?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Yeovil premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
