The short version
Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Weston-super-Mare (BS23). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

Options for PVC strip curtains in Weston-super-Mare
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Traffic route rules that apply in Weston-super-Mare
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Weston-super-Mare?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Weston-super-Mare in writing after a free survey.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Weston-super-Mare premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
How often should strip curtains in Weston-super-Mare be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
