Options for PVC strip curtains in Fraserburgh
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Traffic route rules that apply in Fraserburgh
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in Scotland the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Access, phasing and timing
Sites in and around Fraserburgh vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.
