Options for PVC strip curtains in Gillingham

Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Gillingham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Questions from businesses in Gillingham

Which strip curtain grade suits our Gillingham premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Gillingham site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Gillingham?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
