Quick answer
Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Sutton-in-Ashfield (NG17). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

Options that matter on site
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Jobs we can carry out
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Sutton-in-Ashfield must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
For busy sites in Nottinghamshire the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.
