What to specify
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Jobs we can carry out
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Keeping strip curtains safe in Scotland
The business running the site in Hawick must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
For busy sites in the Scottish Borders the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

PVC strip curtains in Hawick: your questions
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Hawick?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Hawick site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Hawick?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
