Options for PVC strip curtains in Burntwood
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
What this work can involve
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Traffic route rules that apply in Burntwood
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Access, phasing and timing
Most installations in Burntwood can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.
