Options for PVC strip curtains in Walsall

Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.

Jobs we can carry out

Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Walsall must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

For busy sites in the West Midlands the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

Questions from businesses in Walsall

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Walsall?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Walsall in writing after a free survey.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Walsall?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Walsall premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
