What we fit in Ashford (Surrey)

Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.

Jobs we can carry out

Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Ashford (Surrey) must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

How the work is organised

Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.
