What we fit in Walton-on-Thames

No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.

What this work can involve

Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Walton-on-Thames must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Access, phasing and timing

Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Walton-on-Thames site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Walton-on-Thames?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Walton-on-Thames?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
