Options for PVC strip curtains in Reigate
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Traffic route rules that apply in Reigate
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Access, phasing and timing
Sites in and around Reigate vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.
