What to specify

Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Coulsdon must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Access, phasing and timing

If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Questions from businesses in Coulsdon

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Coulsdon?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

How often should strip curtains in Coulsdon be replaced?

It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Coulsdon site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
