The short version
Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Brighouse site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

Options that matter on site
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
What this work can involve
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Brighouse must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
Most installations in Brighouse can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

PVC strip curtains in Brighouse: your questions
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Brighouse?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
How often should strip curtains in Brighouse be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Brighouse premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
