Drives and controls. Motors sized to the door and controls matched to your traffic, from a key switch to induction loops.
All door types. One installer for every common industrial door, from simple shutters to fire-rated and high-speed doors.
Conformity paperwork. Handover includes the product and machinery conformity documents plus commissioning records.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.
Phasing the replacement of several loading bay doors over consecutive weekends so goods-in stays open during the week.
Fitting sectional doors, a high-speed internal door and steel personnel doors to a new-build warehouse as one coordinated package.

Powered door rules in Northern Ireland

Armagh is in Northern Ireland, where workplace safety is regulated by HSENI under the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978. The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993 and PUWER (Northern Ireland) 1999 require occupiers to keep powered doors safe and maintained. Under the Windsor Framework, EU machinery rules and CE marking continue to apply to powered doors placed on the market here, with the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 applying from 20 January 2027.

Keeping your site running during the work

Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Your questions about industrial door installation

How much does industrial door installation cost in Armagh?

Guide prices, ex VAT and supplied and fitted, start at £2,395 to £5,495 for an electric single-skin roller shutter up to about 4 × 4 m, or £3,495 to £8,495 for an insulated sectional door. Your fixed price in Armagh is confirmed in writing after a free survey.

How soon could a new door be installed at our Armagh premises?

It depends mainly on the manufacturer's lead time for a made-to-measure door, which we confirm in the quote. Installation is then booked around your operations, and most single doors are fitted and commissioned in a day.

Who signs off a new powered door at our Armagh site?

When we assemble or motorise a door, we take on the manufacturer's role under machinery law: risk assessment, testing, conformity marking and the Declaration of Conformity. You then keep the door maintained as the employer or occupier.
