The short version
Busy loading doors at your Cirencester (GL7) site wear out faster than quiet ones. Planned servicing catches tired springs, frayed cables and failing safety edges before they stop the door mid-shift.

What the visit covers in Cirencester
- Asset register. A register of every door on site, kept up to date.
- Safety testing. Safety devices are proven to work and closing forces measured where required.
- Flexible timing. Visits out of hours or at weekends where needed.
- Scheduled visits. Each door is serviced as often as it needs, from yearly to quarterly.
- Loading bays. Loading bay equipment is covered alongside the doors, saving separate visits.
Jobs we can carry out
- Servicing high-speed doors quarterly at a food plant, with intervals set from each door's cycle counter.
- Taking over maintenance of mixed door makes on a multi-let industrial estate and building an asset register.
- Combining door servicing with fire shutter drop tests so a site needs only one planned visit.
Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Cirencester?
In England, two sets of duties meet at a powered door. The installer who supplies or motorises it must hand over a door that meets the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested against BS EN 12453 and documented. The business in control of the premises must then maintain it: regulation 5 of the Workplace Regulations 1992 covers maintenance, and regulation 18 requires upward-opening doors to have a device that stops them falling back and powered doors to have features that prevent trapping.
Keeping your site running during the work
Service and repair visits in Cirencester are booked around your shifts. Doors and shutters are taken out of use one at a time, so the rest of the site keeps working while each one is checked.
