What our engineers check and fix
- Asset register. We keep a list of all your doors and their details, updated as things change.
- Loading bays. Loading bay equipment is covered alongside the doors, saving separate visits.
- Written reports. A report per door with ranked defects and recommended actions.
- Full checklist. Every mechanical and electrical part checked, adjusted and lubricated as needed.
- Flexible timing. Visits out of hours or at weekends where needed.
Typical scopes of work
- Taking over maintenance of mixed door makes on a multi-let industrial estate and building an asset register.
- Servicing roller shutters annually across a portfolio of yards, stores and workshops under one contract.
- Servicing every loading door at a distribution site at weekends so goods-in runs normally during the week.
Powered door rules that apply in Wiltshire
Wiltshire is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.
Keeping your site running during the work
Testing and repairs can mean closing an opening, so we agree timing and access with you before the visit, including early, late or weekend slots where the site needs them.

Yes. Visits can be scheduled for early mornings, evenings or weekends where doors cannot be taken out of use during the day. Any extra cost for out-of-hours work is shown in the contract.
How much is industrial door servicing in Wiltshire?
Our guide price for planned maintenance is £85 to £175 ex VAT per door per visit, depending on door type and how many doors are on site. Fire shutter services are priced separately. At least once a year is industry practice, with six-monthly or quarterly visits for busy doors, harsh environments or where the manufacturer says so. We agree the interval for each door when setting up the contract.
