Options for sectional overhead doors in Milford Haven

Finishes. RAL colours to match cladding, with stucco or woodgrain embossing on the outer skin.

Paperwork. Declaration of Performance, user instructions and commissioning records handed over on completion.
Insulated panels. 40 mm PU-insulated steel panels as standard, with thicker thermal panels where heat loss matters.

Jobs we can carry out

Fitting a bank of insulated sectional doors to a new distribution unit, with high-lift tracks to clear sprinkler mains and lighting.
Supplying sectional doors in a RAL colour matched to the existing cladding as part of a unit refurbishment between tenants.
Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.

Powered door rules that apply in Milford Haven

Milford Haven is in Wales, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Access, phasing and timing

Most installations in Milford Haven can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Questions from businesses in Milford Haven

Will a sectional door reduce heating costs at our Milford Haven premises?

An insulated, well-sealed sectional door loses much less heat than a single-skin shutter, and keeping it closed with fast electric operation helps further. Actual savings depend on your building, heating and how often the door is open.

Do you survey sites in Milford Haven before quoting?

Yes. Surveys for new and replacement doors are free. We measure the opening, headroom and obstructions, check the fixings and power supply, and discuss how the door will be used before we price it.

Can you replace a roller shutter with a sectional door at our Milford Haven unit?

Usually, yes, provided there is enough headroom and side room for the tracks. Low-headroom track kits cover many older units. We check this on the survey and include strip-out and making good in the quote.
