Options that matter on site

Track layouts. We pick the track after measuring headroom and obstructions, so the door clears lights, sprinklers and crane rails.
Safety devices. Every powered door is fitted with the safety functions its risk assessment needs and force-tested before handover.
Finishes. RAL colours to match cladding, with stucco or woodgrain embossing on the outer skin.
Insulated panels. Steel sandwich panels with a foam core keep heat in and noise out; thicker panels are available for temperature-controlled units.
Paperwork. Declaration of Performance, user instructions and commissioning records handed over on completion.

Jobs we can carry out

Replacing a draughty single-skin roller shutter with an insulated sectional door and a low-threshold wicket door.
Converting a manual chain-operated sectional door to electric operation with a shaft-mounted motor, safety edge and photocells.
Supplying sectional doors in a RAL colour matched to the existing cladding as part of a unit refurbishment between tenants.

Safety law for industrial doors in Wales

Industrial doors in Caernarfon are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Access, phasing and timing

Electrical work is the part that most often delays a job. If a new or converted door needs a supply, we confirm the motor's requirement at quote stage so your electrician can provide an isolator in the right place before installation day.
