What we fit in Neath

Paperwork. Declaration of Performance, user instructions and commissioning records handed over on completion.
Vision panels. Add a row of vision panels or full-vision aluminium sections for daylight and a clear view of vehicles outside.
Finishes. Choose a colour to match your building and a stucco or ribbed finish that hides minor knocks.
Wicket doors. Integrated pass doors, including low-threshold versions, for staff access without opening the main door.
Track layouts. We pick the track after measuring headroom and obstructions, so the door clears lights, sprinklers and crane rails.

What this work can involve

Installing a sectional door on low-headroom tracks in a steel-framed unit where the roof haunch sits close above the opening.
Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.
Replacing a draughty single-skin roller shutter with an insulated sectional door and a low-threshold wicket door.

Powered door rules that apply in Neath

Neath is in Wales, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Keeping your site running during the work

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.
