Options that matter on site

Insulated options. Leaves can be filled with insulated panels and sealed along their edges to cut heat loss.
Top-hung or bottom-rolling. We hang the door from above or run it on a floor rail depending on what the building can support.
Folding leaves. Where there is little wall either side, folding leaves concertina into a compact stack.
Electric operation. Motor drives with safety edges, photocells and guarding where needed.
Robust build. Steel-framed leaves with steel, panel or timber cladding.

Jobs we can carry out

Replacing worn timber sliding doors on a storage building with steel-framed bottom-rolling doors and a wicket door.
Replacing a damaged floor rail and guide wheels on a bottom-rolling door struck by a vehicle.
Supplying insulated sliding leaves with edge seals for a converted building now used as a heated workshop.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Aldershot are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Access, phasing and timing

Most installations in Aldershot can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.
