In short
Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Colwyn Bay (LL29). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

What we fit in Colwyn Bay
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Typical scopes of work
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Keeping strip curtains safe in Wales
The business running the site in Colwyn Bay must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
For busy sites in Clwyd the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Colwyn Bay?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Clwyd?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Clwyd to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
How often should strip curtains in Colwyn Bay be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
