Options for PVC strip curtains in Seaham
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Seaham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
Sites in and around Seaham vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Seaham?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Seaham site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Seaham?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Seaham in writing after a free survey.
