Options for PVC strip curtains in Northumberland
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
Jobs we can carry out
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Traffic route rules that apply in Northumberland
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Northumberland?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Northumberland in writing after a free survey.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Northumberland?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Northumberland site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
