The short version

Options for PVC strip curtains in Hexham
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Hexham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.
