Options that matter on site
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Jobs we can carry out
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in County Durham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.
