Options for PVC strip curtains in Cramlington
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
What this work can involve
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Cramlington must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Northumberland to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Cramlington?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Cramlington in writing after a free survey.
