Options for PVC strip curtains in Wallsend

Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.

What this work can involve

Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Wallsend must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Keeping your site running during the work

Most installations in Wallsend can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Frequently asked questions

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Wallsend?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Wallsend site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How often should strip curtains in Wallsend be replaced?

It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
