What we fit in Tewkesbury
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
What this work can involve
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Tewkesbury must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

PVC strip curtains in Tewkesbury: your questions
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Tewkesbury?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Tewkesbury in writing after a free survey.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Tewkesbury site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Gloucestershire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Gloucestershire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
