What to specify
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Typical scopes of work
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Evesham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Frequently asked questions
Which strip curtain grade suits our Evesham premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Worcestershire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Worcestershire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Evesham site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
