Options for PVC strip curtains in Beckenham

Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.

What this work can involve

Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Beckenham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Keeping your site running during the work

Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

PVC strip curtains in Beckenham: your questions

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Beckenham site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Beckenham?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Beckenham?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Beckenham in writing after a free survey.
