What to specify
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Holloway must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Frequently asked questions
Which strip curtain grade suits our Holloway premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Holloway site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Holloway?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Holloway in writing after a free survey.
