Options for PVC strip curtains in Kilburn

Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.

Jobs we can carry out

Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Traffic route rules that apply in Kilburn

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

How the work is organised

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Kilburn?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Kilburn?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Kilburn in writing after a free survey.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Kilburn site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
