PVC strip curtains in Stamford Hill

In short

Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Stamford Hill (N16). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

Options that matter on site

Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Stamford Hill must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.

Frequently asked questions

Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Greater London?

Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Greater London to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Stamford Hill site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Stamford Hill?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
