Options that matter on site
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Jobs we can carry out
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Traffic route rules that apply in Tottenham
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Planning the work around your site
Most installations in Tottenham can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Tottenham?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Tottenham in writing after a free survey.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Tottenham premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Tottenham?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
