What we fit in Richmond

Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Richmond must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

For busy sites in Greater London the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

Frequently asked questions

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Richmond site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How often should strip curtains in Richmond be replaced?

It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Richmond?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
