What we fit in Twickenham
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
What this work can involve
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Twickenham must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site

PVC strip curtains in Twickenham: your questions
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Twickenham?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Twickenham in writing after a free survey.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Greater London?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Greater London to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Twickenham premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
