PVC strip curtains in Bushey

At a glance

Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Bushey site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

Town: Bushey
Postcode district: WD23
Area: Hertfordshire
Survey: Free for new installations

What to specify

Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Bushey must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

Most installations in Bushey can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Frequently asked questions

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Bushey?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Bushey site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Bushey premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
