Options for PVC strip curtains in Hoddesdon
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Hoddesdon must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Questions from businesses in Hoddesdon
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Hoddesdon?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Hertfordshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Hertfordshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Hoddesdon site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
