Options that matter on site
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
What this work can involve
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Traffic route rules that apply in Folkestone
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
How the work is organised
Sites in and around Folkestone vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Folkestone in writing after a free survey.
