Options that matter on site
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
What this work can involve
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Ashford (Kent) must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Most installations in Ashford (Kent) can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Frequently asked questions
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Ashford (Kent)?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Kent?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Kent to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Ashford (Kent) site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
